We had pre-paid for our room because we were coming in late 8:00 pm. We had reserved a bigger room with a fridge and a microwave and had paid more for it. When we got there all they had was small rooms with nothing in them. When we asked them about it, they moved us to another room that was the same as the first one.
When we talked to them about our reservation they said that they didn't have any rooms left like that and we would have to talk to the GM in the morning about a refund, he would be in at 8:00 a.m... We checked at 8, 9 and left at 10.

Its in a perfect location and easy access off I-90, we stayed three nights because it was in the center of all the attractions.
We did local bus tours and would highly recommend the sight seeing tours. The restaurant, lounge, waterslide, plus a free continental breakfast were all very nice. The hotel is different than a chain, it was very clean and classy.
The rooms were larger than most hotels and had plenty of room for the children and the children really had fun on the waterslide. They have a great staff for assisting with the attractions to see. It was located next to a convenient store for our daily snacks which was a plus.

The Ramada that I stayed at was everything I expected. The staff was efficient and courteous. The restaurant service and food quality was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend Ramada to anyone.
There were no surprises, just a relaxed comfortable stay.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Grand Gateway Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

I finally tried the Grand Gateway Hotel to conduct my meeting. I was very impressed and so were my attendees. I will not look at another hotel, all the equipment was new and state of the art, the design of the room and décor was first class and so was their service. I travel extensively and this was the best in the Midwest.
