This is a glorious facility! They have fabulous rooms with wonderful linens and very comfortable beds. Its probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot.
They have a great work out facility, excellent food, great help in the business office. Why haul all those show brochures home when you can have the business office ship them, it was very easy! They have exceptional service. You will be so happy you stayed here. Even if you are adding up your Hilton or Marriott points, stay here and treat yourself. Its a fabulous hotel!

The hotel is awesome. The staff is great and friendly. The housekeepers are honest and nice. I was not worried that my valuables would be lifted during my stay.
I felt that my things in the room would still be there when I came back.
I am very likely
to return to the Grand America Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The front desk did not check me in properly. They called late at night, woke me up, and insisted it was "Urgent" that I come to the front desk to re-check in. When I said I would deal with it in the morning they were quite rude. When I came down ...

The service at the Grand America cannot be faulted. The common areas were truly gracious and elegant. This hotel and its staff will transport you back to a time of true service and great professionalism. They have huge, luxurious rooms, and huge bathrooms. And finer details that most luxury hotels have actually forgotten that they exist. I travel the world on business and am lucky to stay in some of the best establishments. This is a classic like few others.
Our room was on the 2nd floor I believe and overlooked the street. It was large, with an entryway, a bathroom to the side and large living quarters. The windows were double, maybe even triple paned, so the street noise was at a minimum. It wasn't an incredibly busy street to begin with. The breakfast was varied and quite good.
The concierge staff was great, they were pointing out good restaurants and shopping, etc.
