From some of the reviews being so mixed, we weren't sure what to expect...but were pleasantly suprised!! The hotel staff were some of the best that we had met during our travels, extremely polite and helpful.

Nice place to stay if you are only staying a couple days. The room was typical average hotel room. Fan in bathroom was broken and there were cobwebs in the corner where the a/c unit was held. Other than the webs, the room was clean. Staff was...

Excellent
Great for the money. Basic but clean, good furnishings, well maintained, good location, very good staff. Use the fitness center at Wilderness resort. Walk to colonial area. We would happily stay again (and probably will).

Okay
Good location, soft mattress, nice staff-the place is in need of upgrades-carpet, mattresses, etc. The continental breakfast was generous. It's not the place for a long stay-one or two nites is plenty. It's not a hotel for a picky traveler.
