Adequate accommodations and a good price

Accommodations were clean and sufficient. We were were just staying a few nights and looking for a place to rest our head. The area worked well as it was within 20 minutes of many attractions, and the price was great. Enjoyed the pool too. There were also some great eating spots within 1 mile easy to get to by car. My only disappointment was the phone had not been turned on, even though I used a credit card at check-in, however, with one phone call it was fixed.

The hotel is good value for the basics. This was our second year staying there for the same event and we would stay there again.

The location of the hotel was good. They provided a clean comfortable room in quiet setting close to everything, at reasonable rate. I would definitely stay there again.

The price rise this year did not match with the renovations we saw going on there. We got a room in mid-renovation with minimum furniture. We did not see any indication that the next year was going to be worth the thirty-dollar jump in price. The bed was new, but the television was on an all too temporary stand.

The room smelled unpleasant. There was little service if any. The desk clerk seemed to be always sleeping or never at the desk. But the hotel's location was great, easy to find, right off the freeway.
I am not likely
to return to the Good Nite Inn South Bay.
I
would not recommend it to friends.

There was a strong smell of urine around the stair area. I had to change rooms because the first room I was in had a big hole punched in the bathroom door, and dirty walls. There was a huge pile of garbage always at the bottom of the stairs. It was not pleasant staying there.
