The location, the service and the comfort were fine. I would recommend the hotel. The VIP check in did put us in three rooms till they got the right bed and smoking request.

This hotel made me feel entertained: It is a casino. I enjoyed the table games, the slots and the poker tournaments. My husband was in a golf tournament that he enjoyed. The receptions and the gifts were very nice.

The main problem I encountered occurred the first night. After unpacking and settling into my room, I became ill from cigarette smoke coming from the room next door. I was on a non smoking floor, but I was forced to move to another room. The casino area could use a better smoke filtration system as well. The hotel location is ideal for the Fremont Experience! The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast weekend prices are double the weekday prices, but the food variety and quality is good. The hotel was very accommodating to our needs.

This hotel made me feel entertained: The entertainment came from the street in front of the hotel.

The reservation personnel was rude, unaccommodating and gave wrong info about the room vacancies in the north tower.

The room price was more then quoted. I disliked the long check in lines. There were few people helping there.

The rooms were close to the meeting rooms. The restaurant was open twenty four hours. I was able to park in the structure.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The comfortable surroundings, the beautiful decor and the relaxing pool area made me feel relaxed.

The show was part of the package. The seats assigned were unacceptable as we could not see the stage. We were able to change them at the performance.

This hotel is located in downtown Las Vegas. It is the most upscale downtown hotel in Las Vegas. It is generally less expensive than a similarly appointed hotel on the Strip.

We have stayed several times at the Golden Nugget hotel and we had always had excellent service. This time we needed a wheelchair. The hotel was more than helpful. We will stay there again.

We were only there for a night so I did not have time to see everything but we did eat the breakfast buffet which we thought was very nice and my mother enjoyed playing at the craps table. The only thing my mother had a concern with was that when we booked, we asked for a non smoking room; it turned out we were going to be arriving late and when she called to advise the front desk, she was told that they could not guarantee a non smoking room and they would not release her from her reservation. My mother has allergy problems and she cannot stay in a smoking room so if there had not been one available when we arrived, she would not have stayed and she would never had come back. I would ask that the company rethink this policy because some people with allergies or asthma cannot be in smoking rooms and have a good experience.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: I have only been able to stay at basic hotels so to stay at a casino that had this wonderful pool and lovely decorations, security and a casino to boot was just a new experience for me.

We had the privilege of staying at the Golden Nugget for the celebration of our 50th anniversary with family and friends. The service, food, pool and our beautiful spa suite made it an event to remember. We had been planning this party for 4 years and we were not disappointed! The Golden Nugget is the place to be in Vegas. Thanks for making our 50th a truly amazing event and an unforgettable experience.

We arrived early Sunday sept. 2,2007 I did not think we would be able to check in early but we were. the room was beautiful everyone was friendly the buffet was great as well as the italian restaurant. the pool was very nice we even went down the slide not bad for 45 year olds!!! we would stay here again , love playing downtown not as much walking! and not as crowded

It’s a gem of a hotel right in the middle of downtown Las Vegas. The hotel and casino were spotless, the service was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Downtown Las Vegas is where all the excitement is and the Golden Nugget only enhanced the experience. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This hotel made me feel secure: The security personnel were discreet but very much present. I especially liked the fact that after nine p.m. a guard checked your ID before you could access the elevators to the rooms.

It’s the first time we ever stayed downtown in Las Vegas. We probably will never stay downtown again. We prefer the Strip. The bed was too small.

It’s the nicest hotel in downtown Las Vegas. They seem to upgrade the property every time I visit.

Our stay at the Golden Nugget was wonderful. We had about eighty guests total in our party. None of our guests reported any problems. We had our wedding reception at the hotel banquet facility. It was better than expected. It was a wonderful experience, it is highly recommended!

This hotel made me feel important: Our stay was during my wedding and reception. Our family was treated with class and we felt our needs were met above and beyond expectations.

They were building a new pool area and the noise at night, when trying to sleep, was too much for us to take. We only stayed one night of a three-day vacation.

We were satisfied with our stay there.

I used a football package to see a bowl game. I enjoyed the hotel package including a ballroom dance show. The assigned seating at the show was very poor, but we were able to change.

I would have liked a free airport shuttle. A coffee maker in room would be very welcome. The lighting in the room is less than adequate for reading at the table or desk. The pillows were too flimsy. The cleanliness is very good and the smoke in the casino was well maintained. The food was very good. I would definitely stay there again. Overall I was very satisfied.
