The Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort was the first full service resort in Lake Placid to be completely non-smoking on premisesas well as to have all non-smoking guest rooms. I spent a vacation at the golden arrow hotel on the weekend of November 23rd, 2007 with my family in a beautiful suite called the Seneca Suite. I loved staying here it was exceptional. The room was clean, cared for and a very nice staff. It was nice to have wireless in the room because both of my children needed to download college and high school assignments.
We really loved the "green" aspects of the hotel. It is very responsible and we wish more hotels would do this. Thanks for a great vacation!!!

We experienced the kindness and hospitality from the moment we walked through the door . That feeling still hasn't left us and it has been a month!
The fresh room air and green environmental policy was most welcome. The housekeeper was so accomodating and so very attentive to every detail of our room. The gondola ride on Mirror Lake made for one of the most memorable wedding anniversary celebrations we have had in years!
The access to the dock and beach was outstanding and although we did not feed the ducks we did talk to them! The indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna were most welcome after a time of paddling, pedaling, or rowing. And the view both inside and outside the lobby was beautiful. And just so we didn't feel so far from home, there was internet access so we could stay in touch with those loved ones "back at the ranch." Cell phone service was crystal clear and the location was in the heart of it all.

The place was super nice with the best location and an amazing beach. What I loved though was that they are trying to be eco conscious and have a bunch of green programs in place. They even try to get the guests involved by having them recycle! I loved the town and this is the place to stay!

The staff at reception and housekeeping are excellent. Friendly and committed to the comfort of the guests. Love the animal friendly policy as well, and the conservation efforts. We will definitely be back

This is without question, the best place to stay in Lake Placid. The location is in the middle of everything, so you can walk almost everywhere. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The place is not pretenious. Just friendly and welcoming. I love it!

This place was so amazing. The staff was friendly and funny. The rooms were beautiful and the view indescribably beautiful. This time of year, the town was slow but it did not matter. We had a great time exploring the mountains during the day...
