As long as the price continues to be right (free) I will continue to stay. However, the maids are very !! annoying and the supply of towels, pillows, and cases, shampoo and soaps are very scarce and they guard them as if they are gold. They make you beg for more towels or supplies and then threaten that they are documenting it all as if you are a criminal. The bathrooms are very unclean there is mold in every shower and this effects my breathing as mold is extremely dangerous to breath. Often times it is extremely noisy and if the room is free or a comp of some type then you are always placed by the stairs and doors and all night we hear people bounding up and down the stairs and slamming doors, The maids are very loud and noisy in the mornings in the hallways. If I call the desk for supplies the maid never comes I always have to get dressed and go out of my door and find the maid and ask for supplies then I am treated as if I am asking the maid for a million dollars out of her pocket and she is extremely rude. They never bring the suppllies to my door after I call. They always forget.

As far as the casino goes, it is a very dark atmosphere there is no lighting used at all. From the outside looking in you would think the casino is closed all the time. The restaurant is not very good, the selection of food is minimal and the prices exteremely high for the quality. The waitresses are just as rude as the maids and very scarce. If your looking to get a drink at this casino you might as well go to bathroom and get a drink of water because the waitress stations herself at the bar and stands and talks and does not come around to serve or take orders but maybe once every hour and a half and at that time the waitress calling out cocktails is barely audible therefore no one can hear her call for cocktail/drink orders then you wait almost an hour before she returns with the drink so by that time you have either died of thirst or left the building. I did at one time play at this casino and play big that is how the comps continue to come. Personally, I do not play at this casino or eat there any longer. I have taken my business elsewhere. I go only for the comps and then I head to the Nugget or Fandango for play and fun and when there is no comps then I do not come near this place when in town. I would not recommend this hotel or casino because customers are treated like criminals and not wanted.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Gold Dust West Carson City.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It's an outstanding property which includes a pool and bowling alley. I stayed as part of a golf group and you will not find a better hotel property to handle any kind of group. It's an outstanding property and we'll be going back on an annual basis.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: It's just a great property. Not too big not too small, you know everybody by the time you leave. It had good food, clean rooms, and the right price.

I am very likely to return to the Gold Dust West Carson City.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was suppose to be a non-smoking room but reeked of smoke and when I got home had to wash everything because I smelled like cigarettes. There were not enough towels or pillows.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Gold Dust West Carson City.
I might recommend it to friends.
