Checked in. Tried to sleep. The room above us was full of rowdy kids - they looked underage. they were drinking and smoking and using obscenities toward me. They offered to sell us LSD. We checked out without staying the night and were told there were no refunds.

I made reservations weeks ahead of time. When I arrived, I was told the computer was down and that I could not check into the room until the computers were working again. They had no idea when that would be and made absolutely no effort to accommodate me in any way. In fact, the lady at the desk was rude and unconcerned with my situation. When I asked if she could just go ahead and let me in one of the rooms, she said no way she could do that and walked away. Then I was forced to cancel that reservation and find another motel at the last minute. When I checked my credit card statement, Premier Inn had charged me for a week. It took several phone calls and lots of explaining to make them understand that I had never been allowed to check into the motel at all because the computer was down. Finally, the charge was taken off my credit card.

The beds smell of urine. Police are busting people there every other night. Women resembling prostitutes cruise the motel after midnight. I am not kidding. Check it out. Crime reports are in Concord public records. When I mentioned to the GM of Premier Inns-Concord that I would call the police if I witnessed any other illegal activities on the property, he changed the key to my room. He would only allow me to retrieve my belongings under the condition that I leave immediately. I had to walk in the rain to another hotel at 2 in the morning. He still charged me for that night. That was bad, but not as bad as staying there another night! And I did not want to find out why the manager kept motioning toward his back pocket while YELLING at me to leave. He refused to call the police, just kept yelling and motioning toward his back pocket. This is the GENERAL MANAGER! You can probably read between the lines here and figure out what they're up to at this dive. Just ask any Concord cabby about the Premier Inns. They will tell you it is a "two hour motel". BTW, the better hotels in Concord are priced about the same. Learn from my mistake! I found out the hard way.

Good
They accommodations were very nice. We got on the bottom floor, with a parking spot right in front of the door. There was a mix-up with our reservation, but they fixed it, and we ended up getting a room with two queen-size beds. The room wasn't...
