Glenmoor Country Club is the year round social and activity center of the Glenmoor community. A classic 1930 vintage, Gothic style building, the Clubhouse bears the aura of an unplanned Scottish castle set on rolling green hills. This was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in while at a hotel of any level. It was easy to sleep a full eight hours and wake up refreshed with no aches or pains. The room was pretty user friendly and the handicap bars in the bathroom...

Glenmoor has an elegance that it wears well. For the pretentious, it would never be ideal; for those who want to relax and enjoy some serenity, it is perfect. Staff are courteous and responsive. The grounds are beautiful. Rooms are comfortable, and room service is prompt and attentive. The Spa is surely an oasis with a full complement of services (and one of the best masseuses I've ever encountered). I wish I were a golfer! As it is, I enjoy walking the course and swimming in the pool. The meals are delicious but way too generous in their portion size. I applaud those with the vision to have turned this former seminary into a lovely retreat with a good heart.

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, the staff met all of our needs. The man at check in had a way of making us feel as though we were guest at his home.
This hotel has a very private and upscale setting and offers offers the best golf in town. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Every need was met during our stay.
