My fiance' and I picked the Glen Ferris Inn to have our wedding and reception. We met with the owner Becky Hill over 1 month ago and she was in agreement to have the wedding and the reception there. We went over all the details of the wedding and picked the food out for the reception. We were also prepared to put down the deposit required but she stated to wait until we received the contract. In addition, we booked the 3 suites and 2 double rooms. Other rooms were to be booked closer to the wedding. She stated to us that she will send the contract within that week. 4 weeks had passed and a handful of phone calls were made to both the Inn and her home number. The first 2 weeks were excuses as to why she could not get the contract out and she would mail it the following day or two. The next week she totally avoided our phone calls. We finally had to resort to having the wedding at a different location. In my opinion if you plan on having an event or a business meeting at the Glen Ferris Inn you may have to look elsewhere.
