Hotel Review

55 year old female with a shoestring budget, traveling for business
The restaurants did not have enough variety on the menu, the distance to travel within the hotel took a long time to travel even using a car which I rented.

50 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
The hotel was somewhat isolated; it was difficult to get to any off-site dining or other attractions. It's good for a self-contained conference. Service was good, but the price for minor food (coffee, bagels, etc.) was far too expensive. It's probably not a good choice for tourism, but better suited for business travelers on an expense account. It had a very interesting 'bio-dome' concept with interior balconies -- this aspect really enhanced the experience.

This hotel was absolutely incredible. Everything was better than we could have ever imagined it. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the grounds were spectacular.

My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere, the excellent service and the amenities. This hotel has a Canyon Ranch Spa which is extremely comfortable and the staff is top notch. I got lost in time enjoying the steam room and tea room before and after amazing treatments. The food is good - best meal at the steak house. There are pools for adults only and a fabulous family pool. Kids are welcome but they are fewer than most Orlando hotels because there seem to be many more business people attending conventions compared to vacationers staying there. The atrium is beautiful and fun to explore with lots of surprises. The shops are nice and offer a variety of pricing. Affordable sundries - if you forget something - at shop by front desk. Easy access to Parks, Airport and area restaurants. Don't bring your car - parking is far and pricey - you will spend about the same but have more convenience taking buses and cabs.

Everything about the Gaylord is larger than life. The hotel atrium is set under a glass skylight roof. This was where all the restaurants, catering different cusisines, were located. The ambiance for conventions is a plus. The room service and amenities are superb. And that includes continuous internet access!
