39 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for business
i got sick while staying in this hotel. The hotel is all covered up 365 days a year and you have to breath the climate air which is used to keep the plants healthy and alive. If you stay inside the hotel for two straight days and nights without going outside, you will start feeling weak and sick. Most of the employees especially housekeeping and banquets spoke Egyptian most of the time.

Good
The Gaylord Opryland was our first stop on our honeymoon. We stayed for three nights, which was a bit too long for us. The hotel's shuttle bus and tour through downtown was a great thing to do for one day. The food was overpriced, but good. ...

Mediocre
The grounds and common areas of the hotel are amazing, but it is like the Wizard of Oz....wait until you see what is behind the curtain. I would stay at another hotel and come visit the Opryland Hotel. The rooms themselves are beyond dissapointing....
