Fine dining?

We did get seated in the dining room, but thats about it. After waiting for 25 min for wait staff, we just gave up and went to the bar. The owner did advise me that his patrons dine there twice a week without problem. So, unless your "local" you may leave here still hungery!

45 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Beatiful lodge and fine dining, rooms are well kept. High quality. Great if you are bringing a boat or a group of people, or romantic getaway, but if you are seeking entertainment outside the lodge it is quite a drive. I was staying a few nights while my daughter was in cable, wi gymnastics camp, and would recommend staying in Hayward as there is much more to do (shopping, movie theaters, casino, restaurants, golf/go carts, etc.
