The European-style Vincci Garden Court in Palo Alto, Calif. is conveniently positioned in the city's vibrant downtown area, less than one-half mile from the Museum of American Heritage and two miles from Stanford University. Mission San Jose & Museum is within fifteen miles of the property. Airport transportation is available for a fee. Hotel Features. Tiled walkways, classic columns and a verdant Mediterranean-style courtyard grace the property's landscaped grounds. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served at Il Fornaio restaurant, which features a wood-fired rotisserie and menu items including gourmet pizzas, fresh pastas, seafood and a revolving selection of meats and poultry. Complimentary continental breakfasts are served daily. Conference rooms and business services are provided, as is high-speed Internet access. Recreational amenities include bicycle rentals, a spa tub, and a fitness center. Guestrooms. The 62 individually-appointed guestrooms and suites contain pale-wood furnishings, canopied beds, down comforters (bedspreads), arched windows, rich fabrics in harmonizing prints and décor in deep rose, tan and spring green. Each includes cable television, complimentary high-speed Internet access and Bose CD radios. Coffeemakers brew Peet's coffee. Very nice hotel in a good location. The rooms had a lot of nice touches and overall the service level was very high. I would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again.

We have stayed at the Garden Court a number of times. Usually, the service and general quality has been excellent, but something is wrong. It is late November, 2007, and the towels are frayed; the kleenex boxes are all very low; light bulbs are burnt out; the fixtures are showing extensive corrosion -- and most of the staff are curt and unfriendly. It may recover in 6-9 months, but right now I do not recommend this hotel for anything other than its fine location.
