I travel frequently for business and pleasure and have fallen for FRONT STREET INN. While drinking wine in the cute lounge area, I've met interesting people and picked up good local travel tips. The location is great and the people lovely.

Excellent
Both Richard (the owner) and his wife were warm and welcoming when we first arrived at the inn. They were also very friendly and were able to give great advice about the town and places to see and eat at.

The owners of the inn are very rude and not accommodating. We stayed here for a bridal party weekend and were very disappointed at the lack of Southern hospitality, accommodations, and basically very poor customer service. We had friends come from out of town at the last minute to stay with us and since we rented a room that says on the website is accommodates 4 people, they were not able to stay because the owners said it was a two person room even though it had a queen and two twin beds - we had to send our friends home without a place to stay even though we did what we needed to do in case extra people came from out of town - told them we would pay the extra guest fee as also listed on the website - they would not honor what was listed. Overall very disappointed in the service especially when you are spending over $200 a night. If you want rude service and spend a lot of money for rooms that are just as nice as a regular hotel, this is the place for you.

It was, by far, the best bed and breakfast we've ever visited. The Front Street Inn is just a block or two from downtown Wilmington, which meant we could spend the day strolling along the waterfront, visiting many of great little shops, and...
