There is no doubt that this Four Seasons is amazing, much like many of them throughout the world. We loved the ice water, the fresh fruit/popsicles, the large and spacious rooms in addition to the large and spacious bathroom, the pools + hot tubs, the wireless, the garden/courtyard (great sculpture of 3 women surrounded with poinsettias) and finally the beach.
We would definitely stay here again, but not during the holidays, as the hotel was completely booked. Apparently, there are multi-generations of families who have been coming to Maui for 18 years+!
Additionally, the "get up early and reserve a chaise lounge" got old day after day. Supposedly, there are rules but they aren't enforced.
I also would have preferred the option to self-park instead of the mandatory valet. If I'm in heels, no problem, valet is my hero. Otherwise, I enjoy walking and would've been happy to just self park.
I am very likely
to return to the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The rooms are modern with huge bathrooms. Hotel is clean. The pool was a dissapointment. No evian spritzers or frozen fruit for the five days we were there. Good luck finding a chair. Free cabanas? All you have to do is go down at 5am to get one....
We were at the resort during the storms in early December. Management did nothing for the guests. Inadequate power, Elevators not working, pool not working. Even after the power was back on there was limited services for days after. Managers did not ...

Excellent
We just got back from our honeymoon in Oahu/Maui. We stayed in three different hotels (Hilton in Oahu, Hyatt and Four Seasons in Maui). Four Seasons by far is the best for everything from service to room quality. It's definitely a 5 star...
