40 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Our first night we were given a room that stinks of cigarette smoke and looked as if they did a rush job in cleaning. Hairs (not the ones on the head) were on the sink and the toilet seat. We got a second room that had bed bugs which we recorded with our camera. We came away with multiple bites all over, very unpleasant. The desk clerk who checked us in was wonderful; however the clerk who checked us out spoiled the customer service experience for us because she didn't even make eye contact with us. She was very curt and distant. We felt more like the baggage or a piece of paper rather than people the way we were addressed. But on the last note I must confess that the food was excellent.

I am not likely to return to the Four Queens Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

22 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I must admit that the Four Queens surpassed my expectations. The staff was very nice seeing that I thought I asked for 2 queen beds rather than one. They fixed it with no problem and made sure everything was taken care of. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and maid service was excellent. This place is very great to stay if you want to save on cash once in a while. I would consider staying here again and do recommend it.

I am very likely to return to the Four Queens Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We had a wonderful time at the Four queens. Everyone was helpful, friendly and treated us great. They were always helpful when we had questions and the dealers were very nice.

It was a wonderful experience.

61 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My wife and I drive to Vegas twice a year. Since the closing of the Lady Luck, the 4 Queens has been our "home" and it has been a good selection. For us, the room is a place to sleep or rest (not really interested in pools, gyms, etc.). With this in mind, our room has always been clean and comfortable. The bathroom has always been spotless.

The hotel staff has always been very most helpful and pleasant to work with. They have provided the "little extras" that make the stay pleasant as if to say "come back soon". The parking/valet service is in a class of it own-nothing but good to say about this.

The Magnolia Room is outstanding both so far as food and service goes. Prices are average. The breakfast cafe has great food and fair service but the prices are very, very good.

The only times I have used the bars, the service is good and the banter of the bartenders is upbeat.

The casino offers good choices. The only two negative comments about it is the lack of $5.00 blackjack tables at night and the lack of a power room.

The location meets our desires. We want to stay downtown instead of the strip--a bit more laid back and more congenial, especially geared to an older crowd. Just walk out the front door and you are in the middle of the Fremont Experience to include the lightshows and all the kiosks one would want.

Both my wife and I feel very safe and secure walking the street even late at night.

While we could afford more upscale accommodations, I see no reason to. It is all within the 4 Queens or close by. I whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who wants reasonably priced and a more laid back Vegas trip.

We have already booked our stay at the 4 Queens for our next journey out west.

I am very likely to return to the Four Queens Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

My husband and I stayed at the Four Queens right after Christmas in 2007. We had read all the reviews, just like you are doing, and we were very pleased with everything. The room was not a penthouse at Cesear's Palace, but you are not paying for a room like that and your not really ever in the room very much anyway so a standard room is just fine. Why pay for something that you don't use!!!

We had read that the elevator is slow. Not true for us. We stayed in the north tower and every time we hit the button to go up or down it was always right there.

The food at Magnolia's was excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was great as well. I don't know about the other restaurant because we never ate there.

The casino staff was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you get a player's club card for freebies like a deck of cards, pen and pencil set, t-shirt and hat. Is a nice way to get some souvenirs.

Take the deuce to the strip if you want to travel. It is only $5 for a 24 hour period. It is slow, but the strip is always crowded with traffic so allow yourself enough time.

All in all, we would definitely recommend the Four Queens and stay there again.
