Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel - Page 1

It is a great hotel. The pool and gym area is very nice and the rooms are clean and modern.

The hotel had undergone renovations which severely impacted my work there but they did not notify anyone connected to my employers about these renovations. This made my work much more difficult. My employers have decided not to use this hotel for future conventions.

The time for service in the restaurant could be improved. The food quality was excellent.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: Extra blankets and pillows were available if needed. The room temperature was adjustable.

I had reservations that I secured with a credit card and a late arrival guarantee, but upon arrival, I was told that the hotel was overbooked by three rooms and no rooms were available.

I had just flown in to the Pittsburgh airport and had called for the complementary shuttle, you would have expected that they would inform me of the problem then, but no. Rather, after waiting 20 minutes for the shuttle, which was supposed to have arrived within 15 minutes, I called back and was told that it would arrive within 10 minutes. So, all in all, I waited 30 minutes for the shuttle and upon arrival WSA informed that they had just assigned the last room.

When asked how this could possibly be when the only person at reception and I had spoken twice, and clearly she knew I was on my way. All I got was the "doe in the headlights" look and "I don't know."

That had to be one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in and I have stayed in a lot of hotels and motels. The room was very clean and we also enjoyed the new shower curtain design that they use in their room. That was the second or third room that we have stayed in that had this design. It is the round shower rod type. Also, when we left our room in the mornings, there was housekeeping staff in the hall ways always greeting us. The only dislike we had about this particular hotel was the parking. We left the hotel for the evening and when we returned much later, we had a real hard time finding a parking space. There were some renovations being done and that was taking up some vital parking spots. So we had to park far from our end of the hotel. But that was a small thing to deal with.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The bed was so luxurious. It was a king size bed with pillow top mattress, a duvet cover and extra large bed pillows. We just sank into that bed.
