59 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel was fine-convenient to the airport and quiet. However, my husband waited a half an hour for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel after he returned the rental car the night before we flew. The next morning we decided to take a cab to the airport because we learned the shuttle makes 3 or 4 stops. The taxi cost $17 before tip for a very short ride.
I had booked my reservation through an outside discount site and the room I requested was not available. This was a problem because there were 4 of us so I needed the junior suite. I ended up getting a second room.

Recently stayed at the Four Points near the San Fran Airport for two nights. I am usually more than pleased with the Sheraton, but we had two setbacks on this stay. When I booked by telephone through Sheraton reservations, the women said she couldn't match the lower price that was available for the same room through an on-line service. On arrival at check in, the fellow at the desk said that to get the"lowest price guarantee" I had to arrange the price at the time of reservation - neat little Catch 22 that cost us $30 more for the night. Then after checking in, he handed me a note saying they would be power washing the external windows at 8 AM the next morning - no advance warning, apology or consideration provided - nor were we offered the opportunity to stay on the opposite side of the building so that we could sleep in. Other than that, the staff was helpful and polite throughout our stay and provided the normal level of service with which I am usually more than satisfied.
The hotel is located between two highways on a narrow strip of land so it is hardly a relaxed quiet oasis. But the fact that it is quick trip to and from the airport is a plus as we were staying there simply to get some rest between segments of an intenational trip. Staff was polite and friendly.
Unfortunately our room had a barrier-free bathroom that was incredibly inconvenient (I don't know if we just happened to get that type of room or if all of the rooms had that type of bath.) Since there was nothing to stop the water from the shower from spreading out into the rest of the bathroom, by the time the 3 of us had showered (no leisurly bath...) the floor was a soppy mess and the bath mat no longer served the purpose of drying one's feet. We would have preferred a traditional tub and shower.

Room was good. Food in the dining room was good. Could not sleep because of freeway traffic. They were not willing to move us. Going to hope that was because they were full. We wanted to be close to the airport since we had an early flight. Lesson l
