The Four Points by Sheraton Columbus Airport is a modern full-service hotel, located on I-185 at the airport. The hotel is close to commercial, entertainment and shopping areas. Columbus lies on the border between Georgia and Alabama; it was established as a port on the Chattahoochee River in 1828. Just 40 minutes away is Callaway Gardens, a world-class resort that opened in 1952. Callaway's 14,000 acres include lakes, lavish flower gardens and the largest free-flight butterfly conservatory in North America. Also 40 minutes from the hotel is Warm Springs, GA, in whose therapeutic waters Franklin D. Roosevelt sought relief from the ravages of polio. The 32nd president's beloved "Little White House" remains much as it was when he died here on April 12, 1945.

I have never made reservations but was always able to get in. The rooms are very clean and cozy for a night but cramped if you have to stay for a while and want to get comfortable. The rooms are not equipped with microwaves or refridgerators which in this day and time it should. Using the internet was very easy and accessible that was a big plus for me. Everytime I visit Columbus, GA this is my hotel of choice. I really love the comfort of the bed, it feels so good.

I have stayed here many times over the years with my family, but this time it was not that great. But first I will say, that the hotel staff was very friendly, that was top notch, my A/C and heat worked great. That's as far as great goes. The room was clean, but the walls were dirty in some areas. There was always noise at night, but they hotel was barley filled, I think like 20 - 30 guests. I really wish I would have opted to stay somewhere better, and definitely will next time.

The service was unfriendly, nobody ever said any greetings in an answer. Reception was very slow with basics. The A/C was broken in my room, and i wouldn't get a replacement. Kind of unsatisfied, but the food was great. Which i think makes up for it. Would go there again, but under a condition if everything worked properly. Overall would give it 5/10, which just barely makes it a pass on my list.

The location was convenient for shopping and dining out.
The room was clean, but lacking a microwave, refrigerator, and the window did not open at all. The customer service was lacking also, my husband and I walked in and out of the hotel without so much as a "Good Morning, good afternoon" when other guests were being acknowledged.

The room was nice and well kept. The staff was courteous, and the shuttle ride from the airport was very convenient. I didn't appreciate the honor bar provided, and would have preferred not to have been offered the items.
The bed was very well constructed and soft. The room was very neat, and appeared to be cleaned better than other hotels that I have stayed in. The styles for the room and the entryway were well chosen.
I am not likely
to return to the Four Points by Sheraton Columbus Ohio Airport - Opening August 13, 2009.
I might recommend it to friends.

Everyone there was very helpful. Access to the Internet was a great plus. The breakfast in the morning was great. We did not have our luggage and were lucky enough as late as we arrived to be able to purchase t-shirts to sleep. We would definitely stay at a Sheraton again.
