We reserved a room on points at the Four Points in Cocoa Beach, FL before our cruise on Saturday, July 11. I was impressed with the way the hotel looked on the internet and could not wait to get there to start our vacation. Was I ever disappointed with my visit. I entered the lobby to get greeted by a LONG line of about six people to check in and only ONE clerk working. In the lobby, there sat a man with a twelve pack of beer drinking. I thought to myself, "Oh my god, do I really want my kids to see this?" I asked the clerk about our parking pass for our cruise that we had reserved with a representative from the hotel. It was explained to me that we would receive a pass to park in a sattelite parking lot for our cruise for an additional $35. The clerk had no clue what I was talking about. When I was checked in, we proceeded to our room. When I opened the door, imagine my surprise when we were greeted by A GUEST IN THE ROOM! We were given the key to an occupied room. I was so embarrased. I was beginning to doubt this hotel's security. We went back to the front desk and received another room. I asked the clerk to have the manager call me when she came in. She stated she would be in first thing Sunday morning, so I gave her my cell phone number. My family and I left the hotel at 9:00 am to get breakfast and do some sightseeing. We returned to the hotel at three o'clock. Imagine my surprise when our room had NOT been made up. Again, I called to see if the manager was in and was told yes. I wondered why she did not call me as requested, so I went down to visit her. I took her aside into the private computer room so no other guests could hear my comments. I explained to her all the things that I have observed and that I was very disappointed with my stay thus far. I also asked about the parking pass situation. She offered me no sympathy, her only excuse for the gentleman sitting in the lobby of her hotel drinking beer was that "this is a beach resort property". Huh??? The parking pass turned out to be the ablity to park at another Sheraton hotel closer to Port Caveral and be shuttled to the crusie ship. NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD. The managers lack of caring that we were issued a key for an occupied room also bothered me. Had another hotel been available to me, I would have NOT stayed there. When we returned from our cruise, once again, we stayed the night at this hotel (as we had no other choices). I asked for a rollaway bed. I was told upon check out that due to all the problems, I would not be charged the $10 for the bed. Alas, I was charged. If this is the way that Starwood runs their program and allows hotels like this to be in their program....I WILL NOT be signing up anytime soon. This stay was a DISASTER!
I had a reservation for the Sheraton in cocoa beach, I made the reservation online and then called to confirm with reservations. This was for Sat the 21st of June. When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that I do not have a reservation. I told the girl, I have a confirmation and she looked it up and stated... Thats weird you have a reservation for Sat June 21st 2009. This date does not exist. I was then informed that this was an error with reservations and has nothing to do with them at the hotel. I called reservation and gave my confirmation # and then confirmed that I had a reservation for that night. I told them what the hotel said and they told me wait this is for sat the 21 2009, thats weird. They transferred me to corporate resolutions and the woman there told me that I made the reservation on line and if I was not smart enough to look at the date than thats my own fault not theirs and they arent going to help me. This hotel overall has the rudest people working and should all be fired !!! I work for Hilton hotels and we never treat our customers the way you people do. We value our guests. I had purchased a weekend getaway for my anniversary and you ruined it, I will never stay at any property owned by a company that condones this type of treatment to their guests. I ended up having to stay at a motel 6 which is by far not the accommodations that I wanted but at least they treated me like a guest and not common trash. This company disgusts me to no end and I will spread the word so others dont have their plans ruined but an uncaring company.

It's a block from the beach, and the kids loved the pool and the awesome aquarium. It's right next door to Ron Jon's, and the food in the downstairs restaurant was great. Plus, lots of restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel (less than a block away). We accidentally left a cell phone in the room, and they shipped it to us as soon as it was found. The staff was always responsive and considerate to us, and we had a great family vacation at the beach!

I stay at this hotel every other week, when I travel to Cocoa Beach on business. For business travel, it's great - it's in a central location, close to shopping and restaurants, and Merritt Island Mall is only about a 7-min drive.
I haven't had any complaints about noise (even during a couple of spring break visits!) and I use the fitness room but not the pool (which is ridiculously small and badly situated, maybe contributing to my lack of desire to use it.) Though the restaurant hasn't impressed me, the shark tank is cool for adults and kids alike, and the Starbuck's is great for breakfast.
I've observed that the wireless signal is weak - I would recommend that Sheraton contact their provider and request that the signal be increased to ensure connectivity (another plus: connectivity is free, unlike many hotels that charge you $9 or more to connect daily.)
Contrary to what others said, I have had nothing but pleasant encounters with the staff. (Sidney is great - very professional as well as friendly.)
Remember that Cocoa Beach is a slow, sleepy resort town that hasn't changed much since the great space days of the 1960s, so I recommend lowering your expectations. Try to enjoy the slower pace and the lovely ocean air.

The building is nice, but off the beach and the pool is in the parking lot. Similar to the previous review, I also had a very bad experience with the management here. she is not very service oriented and more interested in doing whatever will require the least amount of work and effort from her. For example, a request to lower the temperature in the small "gym" was responded with a resounding NO. Other efforts to get incorrect charges off the bill was also responded with a resounding NO.
If you don't mind spending whatever the manager decides you should spend stay here. Otherwise, stay here at your peril.

The hotel was very pretty, but the location was bad (couldn't even see the ocean from here). The pool is actually in the garage and really awful. The service for a Sheraton at these prices was just awful. We booked a junior suite online and had to pre-pay for the room, which was fine. I lost my visa bank card days before and called the hotel to make sure there would not be a problem. I even brought in my bank statement which had my payment to the Sheraton posted in black and white. After 4 phone calls the assured me no problem...we got there 14 hours later and guess what? Problems! Even though we prepaid for the room, they would not give us keys because I did not have the card. They would not refund the money because it was booked online and was non-refundable. They do not take cash at check in because they don't allow it. So we were suppossed just let them keep the 140.00 a night for the two night stay and go somewhere else right? After begging to speak with a manager (who refused to come to the front desk) someone finally allowed us to stay almost 2 hours later...and the front desk clerk was very nasty about it! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!
I have a problem. with their customer service. I was told when i made my reservation that they had free shuttle service from Orlando airport to the motel and also free shuttle service from the motel to the port where the cruise ships leave.I called...
