Four Points by Sheraton Hotel

The hotel has a fine location, good rooms and comfortable beds. It is near the freeway and the noise level is to be expected. There are food places nearby.

I called from the baggage area three times to get picked up. Each time we were told that the driver was in the area and on his way. After more than an hour we took a cab to the hotel. The desk person had no explanation for the shuttle not showing up and did not apologize. I got a receipt from the cab driver and I was reimbursed. We will not stay there again.

I was terribly disappointed in my most recent stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. I have come to love the Sheraton for it is comfort and hospitality. However, the Four Points I stayed at did not live up to my expectations for Sheraton properties. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the staff was unknowledgeable regarding the immediate surrounding area. I was also greatly dissatisfied when I ordered room service and was told that room service had stopped ten minutes before I called. The guest services book said otherwise. However, I was still able to order food from the bar, which meant leaving my room and made no sense to me at all. I did not understand why they could not place my order and bring it up to me. The next evening I once again was eating late, but of the hotel staff on duty was able to assist me in where to go or guide me in finding a delivery service. I ended up eating sandwiches from the convenience store around the corner for much of my stay.

The location was very good. The price was reasonable.

I liked that the hotel was near the freeway and near the mall. The room was clean and pleasant but a little smaller than I expected.
