Four Points Sheraton Emeryville Hotel

The service was outstanding and the rooms were very nice.

The Four Points Sheraton has the most comfortable beds with a great assortment of pillows.

Although the room was not ready for us when we arrived for our conference, they quickly got one available. While I was waiting, I observed that the front desk staff asked guests who were already checked in how their room was. There was a sense of real caring about their guest's stay.

There is a restaurant on the premise which is only open for breakfast and dinner. There are many restaurants close by and within walking distance. We ordered room service for breakfast and it was very fairly priced and very good. Their dinner menu only included sandwiches and salads, so instead of ordering in, we went to the restaurant next door. They used to have a more expanded menu for dinner, which included pastas and steaks, but apparently they did away with that. I missed it. After a long day in the workshop, it would have been nice to have dinner delivered to the room.

There was hi-speed internet access in the rooms, which was great. They also had wonderful soaps and lotions in the bathroom. There is a shopping center across the street. You don't have to go far to find something to do.

It was in a nice area and it was very quiet.

Travel to Berkeley and San Francisco was easy, with great access to the highway (without 3+ people in the car, this could be a problem during rush hours). There's plenty of choice in food within walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

This hotel made me feel secure: The locks on the door worked. The room was on the 7th floor and the balcony door had 2 locks.
