Four Points Hotel by Sheraton Halifax Hotel - Page 1

After staying at this hotel, I really wondered if the name Four Points meant 4 stars? Because it really did like staying at a 4 star hotel minus the high price. The hotel was quite busy when I went and they had to take a while to find a suitable room for me because I had no reservations.

When I got my room, it was not shockingly surprising to see that it was like a normal room. One important point to mention is the room I stayed in had a view of the Harbour front. Aside from the view, you could also get a nice cool breeze if you opened the window. It was pretty relaxing.

The view isn't just for looks because the hotel is located quite close to the harbour front itself, so you could adventure yourself over there if you wanted to. Unfortunately, I was unable to find much entertainment to do in the area, but it is a great place for R&R.

I decided to take a road trip back this summer to spend some time with my friends and families. I booked a week stay at the the Four Points Hotel by Sheraton two months in advance and checked into the hotel with no problems. Just what I wanted. Clean rooms and up to standard service. The location of the hotel is great. You don't even need a car! Everything is within a short walk - restaurants and entertainment! The hotel is by the harbourfront which is cool and beautiful at night. The best part is the price! I booked for under 90-100 bucks per night!

A few of us traveled to Halifax during March break of this year (2007). We chose to stay at Four Points Halifax due to it's low cost, reputation and downtown location. We had a good time and a memorable vacation during our stay. Staff were very polite and helpful and room service was top notch. The hotel is located at a great location and is just walking distance from many great pups, tourist attractions and nightlife. The rooms were clean and well-stock during our stay. The indoor pool and gym were decent as well and Pacifico's Restaurant was a memorable dining experience as well. The only thing about this hotel is that parking is not free. But other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel to those who are looking to travel to Halifax!

Stayed here during a business trip and the hotel was one of the better ones I've seen. It was my first time in Halifax, so I wasn't sure of where everything once. My business partner suggested that we stayed at the hotel and I would have to commend him on this selection. The hotel is located quite conveniently in the middle of the town. I could walk out and have different stores to visit, which I did during my leisure time. The inside of the hotel is quite nice and clean compared to some of the other ones. The price was just as good. Service was a bit slow, but thats probably because I'm a very impatient man. Overall, not a bad choice.

Stayed at the hotel while in town for a wedding. Found first that it is very central to everything that Halifax has to offer. You could walk up hill to the Citadel or down to the waterfront and Casino.

The front desk staff were friendly, but I expect that of maritime hospitality. I got up to my room quite quickly.

The room was a fair size and clean. It comes with the basics any traveller might need like the coffemaker and highspeed internet.

I did not eat in the hotel's restraunts as there are many other places close by to eat. I did however eat one catered meal at the wedding recption, and would reccomend there catering department.

For the weekend stay it was a good one and I would reccomend the hotel to my friends and family.
