Four Points Hotel by Sheraton Airport Hotel - Page 1

Got off the plane ride to Winnipeg and boy was I tired. Asked people at the airport where the closest hotel was and this is where I ended up at. Place is so close its almost walkable (just kidding). The bad thing about it is there's nothing else around except for the airport. The price I got charged was higher than most places I stayed at. Reason being its close to the airport and people like me always wander in. Service was passable, would have liked it more if someone helped me with my luggage even though it was just a hand carriage. Its not a bad hotel but it being so close to the airport does bring down its rating a bit.

The Four Points is very convenient - just across from the Airport - you don't need a cab - just walk across. Also all car rental facilities are right next door - very convenient for pick-up and drop-off. Good restaurant, paper in the morning, friendly staff, nice rooms. Also a sky-walk to the Airport if really cold or wet outside.

It's clean and modern. Had a fridge and microwave in the room. High speed internet was available. Especially liked the fitness room. Just the size of a hotel room, but the right amount of equipment - and windows. Can't beat the convenience of walking across to the airport. Overall it was a very good place to stay and in a very convenient location.

We stayed overnight in July. We had a 7 AM flight and thought that this hotel would be convenient. Not only was it convenient, but the staff was wonderful! They were so wonderful that we have already booked a room for our trip in August. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is right next to where the rental cars are returned, and is actually connected onto the airport. We turned in our car late the night prior our flight so no rushing around in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Firstly, the location of this hotel is fantastic. You don't even have to step a foot outside into the cold Winnipeg winter, once you are in the hotel, as it is directly attached to the airport. The front desk staff are helpful and professional, and the porters are more than happy to assist with luggage. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. The beds are comfortable, and there is on screen flight information. Wake-up call was on time, which is always important at an airport hotel.

The room service was great too. Awesome pizza, and a fair selection of wine, which was served chilled, and really fast too.
