Good
27 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

My husband and I came to Athens in early May 2008 for a house hunting trip and we needed a nice place to stay, close to the UGA and downtown. The hotel was what we thought it would be. They gave us a room in the first level saying all second-level rooms were occupied, but we didn't mind.

We had breakfast in their Hoyt House restaurant 3 times and the food was very good. They were the only place in town who had fruit salad (I tried a couple of other places for lunch and they didn't). Eggs Benedict were great.

Parking was not a problem, plenty of spaces. May be the time of our visit was right, since we left just before Mother's day and commencement at the UGA.

The room was nothing special, a big comfortable bed, very soft sheets.

Once we forgot to leave tips and housekeeping gave absolutely no additional supplies.

Free high-speed internet, free parking .. well, what else .. great food for breakfast .. rather quiet neighbors :)

I would recommend this hotel.
