36 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I wouldn’t stay in this hotel if I were you. Number one, my family and I walked in into the front desk manager’s office and I was shocked when I heard one of the personnel saying that they have gone to different web sources to add comments of their hotel in order to boost up their overall rating. I cannot believe they were doing this, they were actually going online and writing good reviews about themselves.
Then my sisters and I had a problem with the manager. We told her that the room was bad, it had a broken door, and that the balcony window was broken, she could not even attend to our needs, we went downstairs because enough was enough. We asked to speak to the manager and the front desk agent was going to get her, she went inside the office, and after around 5 minutes came out and said the manager was in a meeting. We did this little routine for more than 4 times, at last we went inside the office and finally spoke to the manager. Anyway, apparently she did not know what to do, which was getting us even madder. After a while another manager came and he helped us out, he was not even the front desk manager but some other kind of manager and he was able to provide us with what we were paying for. This guy was a lot better than the other manager. So I would not stay here ever, after what I experienced and these people boosting up their reviews, no way.
I am not likely
to return to the Fortune House.
I would not recommend it to friends.
