Make this vacation a truly memorable experience with a stay at Hacienda Nicholas. Enjoy a great night's sleep in our beds of feather and down. Unwind in the peace and tranquility afforded by extra thick adobe walls or go one step further and indulge in an in-room massage. Savor the luscious scents from our heavenly rose garden and partake of delectable buffets at breakfast and teatime. Let our dedicated staff help you make the most of Santa Fe so you can have the vacation you deserve. The old adobe home is built around a gem of a garden courtyard. Filled with roses, wisteria, iris, daisies, pansies and geraniums, it provides an ideal setting for leisurely breakfasts or afternoon tea. In warmer weather birds sing in the trees as sunlight filters through the leaves. The outdoor kiva fireplace takes the chill out of the air on cooler days. For relaxing indoors, an over-sized fireplace warms the enormous great room with its 20 foot ceilings, vigas, and hand-troweled plaster walls. Sit on the overstuffed couches in front of the fire or at one of the large wooden common tables to savor delectable homemade cookies, muffins and brownies accompanied by coffee, cocoa, ciders and hot teas. The decor throughout the house is an elegant blend of southwest meets Provence. The adobe walls are painted in soft shades of sunlight. Lace curtains shade the windows, lovely Bauman prints grace the walls, and rustic Mexican furnishings inhabit every room. The seven bedrooms all feature wrought iron or beautiful wood four poster beds, private baths decorated with charming Mexican tiles, telephones with voicemail and dataport, cable TV and air conditioning. Three of the rooms are especially romantic, with king-size beds, fireplaces, and doorways onto the courtyard.

We just had a fabulous week at Hacienda Nicholas and found it to be one of the most delightful inns we have ever visited. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, the food was outstanding, and the location of the inn was perfect ...
Every inch of our house was gorgeous and someone paid much attention to it. There were many Southwestern qualities that I expected would not be in place, but I was truly wrong. We ended up in a gorgeous unit. Best of all we could walk to the plaza...
37 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I absolutely loved my stay here! From the moment I arrived I was treated really well by the attentive and knowledgeable staff. I had reserved a one bedroom but was upgraded to a two bedroom--due to the 1brs being fully booked. Cool huh? This place was no less than perfectly gorgeous with southwestern features throughout, a gourmet kitchen, kiva fireplace, huge walk-ins, stunning furniture, and all on a lovely site very close to the plaza yet with awesome views and sweet indoor pool. I am a business traveller and a comfortable bed is really important to me and I couldn't have rested better anywhere -- This is truly the best service/value stay for downtown Santa Fe.
Don't be fooled. This is not a 3 star hotel. It is as bad as the worst motel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. If there was a zero star rating, I would give it. Fort Marcy Suites are condo units in various states of disrepair. We...
