Unlike the last reviewer I had a great time there. If your looking for the Ritz at bargin prices you are mistaken. This is a beach hotel were people come to enjoy the ocean (just accross the street) at a great price. This is an old time beach hotel where the staff is fun and attentive to your needs. The best thing is price. If you want to get away for a few days in a clean hotel by the ocean this is the place.

The Hotel pamphlet is somewhat misleading...made it look like a family hotel when it is definitely not! I stayed there with my husband and daughter. The first room was smoky but supposed to be non-smoking. Then we got into a room and the next door neighbors were yelling and screaming. It turns out it was a roomful of drunks. When we called the front office, we were told, that we could move if we wanted to, because after all, the other people came to party. Can you imagine?!?! So, we packed up again and moved to a different room. Then the guys were all sitting out in the little courtyard near our hotel window drinking until all hours. I finally went out and asked them to settle down because I knew my daughter would be terrified if she woke up. Pretty sad when you have to take matters into your own hands 'cause the hotel staff won't.

The rooms were quite non-descriptive, definitely not nice like the brochure portrayed. The beds were the worst bed that I have slept on in my life--covered with plastic sheets that were loud upon any movement. No wonder this hotel has plastic sheets--they cater to drunks! This is not a good hotel and especially not for children. There was no free deluxe continental breakfast like the website said, no laundry like the sign said, no working elevator--very disappointing. They definitely need to update their website and pamphlet as it is misleading. Not a family hotel. If you are drunk and need plastic sheets, then this is the place for you. I would never stay there again, not even if I were given a complimentary stay. Do yourself a favor, and find somewhere else to stay.

The hallways were dirty and dark. There were water stains on the carpet and ceilings. There was water leaking on the ground floor, and the smell was horrible. It was not worth the money!
