34 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

This motel is a nice refreshing change from the normal motels. When I checked in the desk clerk was very helpful and pleasant. I thought that being an older motel the rooms would be rundown, but they were not at all. The room I stayed in had a nice bed & breakfast feel. From the private patio overlooking the great view of the pool to the nice hot tub this is a place that when I come back through I will be stopping at.

42 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

After a 8 hour car ride with a vehicle full of children my wife and I were happy to come upon this motel. It was right within our price range and they were even able to put all of us in one room. The desk clerk brought a rollaway bed and extra blankets. The next morning the kids were even able to get into the pool before checkout time. My wife and I were able to relax with the coffee and donuts that the motel provides and watch the kids having fun. The kids especially got a kick out of the fact that there was part of a movie made at the local bridge near the motel. We would definately stay here again.

Customer service was depressing, maid service inadequate and to add to the danger we found used syringes in our room, I wouldn't even let my kids stay there! The Super 8 motel just around the corner was a lot cleaner.

50 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Built probably in the 50s, it is no surprise that the bathroom is small, and the amenities are basic. I am not crazy about some of the decorating choices: a bit cheesy maybe.

Everything else I REALLY liked. The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV was fine, and even the WIFI worked perfectly. My room overlooked the sloping lawn going down to the pool. I opened the patio door, and the front door to the room, to let lots of light and fresh air stream in during the day. That gave the room a much more comfortable and authentic feeling than I would have found in any of the bigger, pricier chains.

I'll be back!

40 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The motel is very outdated, the pillow case was not changed and it still had hair from the previous guest. Also, we were charged for a "missing bath towel" that we never saw. The hotel manager said that according to the housekeeping reports there was evidence that a towel was missing. I wonder if the unchanged dirty pillow case was in the housekeeping report as well.
