If you're looking for a free two nights somewhere, and you don't mind spending 2+ hours listening to a sales pitch then go visit the ranch. The ranch has a nice water park which just opened up. They have daily/nightly wagon rides pulled by a tractor. The driver/host is very friendly and fun. The kids really loved him and thought he was such a cool cowboy. Plenty of fun family activities as well as a golf course. The course is okay but nothing spectacular. Was well cared for and managed with clean greens. Horseback riding for a fee. There are tennis courts which were clean and an adults only pool. The child care consisted of an older lady and a teenager who seemed to watch the kids play on a play ground. They did have a pony that the small children were allowed to ride. The kids also had toys to play with inside the kids club house, such as water guns for hot days.
We stayed in the suites which I believe everyone who comes to hear the sales pitch stay. The bed was comfy, but the cable was horrible. Some channels were clear but many were fuzzy. Standard 32" tube tv's with remotes. There were cracks in the drywall, probably caused by settling and our refrigerator was extremely noisy in the kitchenette. Kitchenette had a microwave, range/oven, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. All appliances were small but useful for those who bring their own food. The room was clean and impressive. Studded leather seating, king size bed on large oak headboard/footboard. The room was pretty plain with basic white walls. One wall in the living room had floor to ceiling mirrors. Bedroom also had mirrored closet doors. I would have preferred some color in the room. Outside the room there was peeling paint on the doors which was not aesthetically pleasing. Did not try the food but guest services was friendly and took care of our needs quickly. It's a nice place but needs lots of minor things to bring up it's rating.
