Ok, I will admit that I read bad reviews of this hotel online before we went to Florida. I did not book a room because of that, but when we arrived, our planned hotel had decided to not accept dogs. We had to find a new place. The Floridian is the only hotel in Homestead that will accept pets. The rooms were not that bad. The grounds were clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The hotel overall needs some work and while we were there, the rooms below us were being renovated. We were in and out of our room at different times of the day and evening and whenever we were in our room, we NEVER heard any loud disruptive sounds. There was a breakfast buffet each morning that was really pretty good. You could choose from cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee and even pancakes and waffles. There were some stains on the carpet, but overall, it looked clean. There was no musty smell coming from it. We would stay again.
I am very likely
to return to the Floridian Hotel of Homestead.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
