Florida Hotel and Conference Center

We had one major problem with this hotel: They kept trying to check us out! We stayed for three nights. The first morning, we received a notice about checking out that day and had to clear it up with the front desk. The second day, we returned from being out all day to find the door wouldn't unlock to one of the rooms. We had to show them our itinerary from Hotels.com (which thankfully was in the luggage in the other room) because they checked us out and didn't have the information on file. Also on the first day, the elevator reached the tenth floor, shook violently and then started going down again. I got off at the 7th floor and used the stairs from the remainder of the weekend.

This is a very nice hotel. It has comfortable beds and nice TV's. Being connected to the mall is an added benefit.

It's very nice! I loved the rooms, the beds were the best I've had in a hotel and the TV in the room was great! There was internet access available and the staff was pleasant. The bathroom was beautiful. The poor cell phone reception was the only problem.

My problem with door keys was handled knowledgeably and with practical advice. I suspect worn magnetic strips. They had to have the lock reset and security brought me new cards after the original ones didn't work.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I was promptly served at check in even though I was early for their appointed time. Since I had a meeting scheduled within one hour, I appreciated this effort.
