The room was nice and clean with a great view from the 18th floor. I liked the idea of an adult pool because the other pools were crowded with kids, but I did not want to pay the $10 to get in. Price was cheap for mid week. Vegas is always a fun place to go and relax.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a group with 5 rooms. One room had issues with cleanliness, but the rest were perfect. When we needed service in the room, it took close to an hour even though we were told it would be 20-30 minutes. Overall we were very pleased and would return.
I am very likely
to return to the Flamingo Las Vegas.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
sure the hotel in general is "dated", but by no means is it nasty or bad. they are updating the rooms with flat screens and new furniture (i do not know how that is going ) but i stayed at the flamingo last october with my Dad and had a great time.
ONE DISCLAIMER- OF THE 4 DAYS I SPENT IN VEGAS I ONLY SPENT ABOUT 25 HOURS IN MY ROOM, AND THAT INCLUDES ABOUT 22 HOURS OF SLEEPING. i like to get out and about and would rather sit at a cheap slot or card table than watch tv in my room.
my dad got all 6 days comped and we got to use the special check in, so that was very easy. the location is great, across from bellagio and ceasers and next to venetian. also you can go to O' sheas for a small casino and lower table limits... if you are on a budget, are not picky, and want a good location, this is a good hotel....................... now, if you are looking to impress your wife with a luxury vacation in a beautiful hotel, try another place, we love Treasure Island for the price. of course you can always pay the big bucks and stay at the top hotels.

We usually stay at a MGM/Mirage hotel but decided to try the Flamingo because they were associated with Caesar's Palace and advertised renovations etc. It was a horrible and traumatic experience. We paid $179 for a room where Motel 6 is better. The room had mold in the bathrooms, stains on the walls, curtains and carpet, no lapshades, chipped and old furniture, smelled like smoke (non-smoking room), tiny and pokey pillows and no comforters on the beds. We complained to the manager but all he did was give us a $30 gift certificate to use in the hotel. We tried to switch but because of the World Poker Tournament, every hotel was booked. It was just the worst experience I ever had in Las Vegas!
We booked a non-smoking king but when we arrived we were told that only a non-smoking queen or smoking king were available. We took the smoking room and that was a big mistake. The TV is a very small, standard televsion. The room is very small. We did have a good view of Caesar's palace however. The pool is VERY crowded, good luck finding a seat. The staff is not very helpful. Our room was never made up before 3pm even though we requested that our room be made up early each day as we were out all morning and wanted to rest in the afternoon. Margaritaville was a very fun place, the band was excellent, wish I could remember their name, but the drinks were TERRIBLE. My advice, stay at Bill's next door. They have $.99 margaritas all day long.

After checking into our room we noticed stains all over the bedskirt and curtains. There was trash under the bed and finger prints all over the windows and mirror. I called the front desk to complain and ask that someone come clean the room. They offered to move me, but I would have to come down to the front desk and get my new room key. That would be fine if you didn't have to wait 30-40 min in line to get the key. We called back and asked that someone bring us the key and was told the room we were currently in wasn't even assigned to us.... Two minutes later a family walked right into our room. When I talked to the mgr on duty and told her everything she didn't seem that concerned. I asked her if we could have money taken off our room rate and she told me they don't do that. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and can't believe I paid $200 for the room. I will never stay there again and NEVER recommend it to anyone. They really need to work on there housekeeping and customer service.
