The Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel is in the center of midtown Manhattan, and is just around the corner from the Grand Central Station. The rooms are quite luxurious and are comfortable and well equipped. There are a number of beautiful Courtyard and Penthouse suites, featuring canopied beds. The centerpiece of the hotel is the Wheeltapper Pub, a quaint old-world Irish pub with a railroad theme. It serves an authentic Irish breakfast all day, as well as quality pub grub! A nice change to 'normal' hotel food and it certainly fills you up well for a hard day's sightseeing! There is also a fitness center, which I didn't see and a business center. The staff here are welcoming and friendly. A good hotel in a lovely location.

The location was great, right next to Grand Central Terminal, which has shops, food, and markets. It was near Starbucks, McDonalds and pizza. It is close to subways with access to the S train that takes you to a hub at Times Square. It is a great location. I stayed one night and was close to everything, Central Park, midtown and the subway. It had a great bed!
It had a very nice pub, with a solid Irish menu, drinks, and a wonderful HDTV.
I am not likely
to return to the Fitzpatrick Grand Central.
I might recommend it to friends.

Its just around the corner from the theater district, the Fitzpatrick Hotel offers the ultimate in comfort with lavish amenities and first-rate service.
The rooms are beautiful, the staff is attentive and friendly and the cost is so reasonable. The hotel's restaurant, the Wheeltapper, offers sensation traditional Irish cuisine, and when it is warm, they have a stunning secluded outdoor patio.
If you are in town on business, their state-of-the-art boardroom is perfect for meetings as well! I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to make their visit to New York memorable, whether you are going for fun with the family or on business!

The rooms were quiet and comfy, bathroom was clean and wonderfully appointed (although water pressure was a bit low on the 7th floor). We enjoyed the bed, and the lighting in the room was well-done..reading lights, room lights, and so on...made it...
