We stay there because it is close to all the other downtown casinos and they offer us special rates because we stay there often. It’s a very nice place.

We have stayed there several times and we would recommend it anytime.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The coffee shop was too small and smoky. The service in the coffee shop was slow. The location at the end of Freemont Street was great for the light show.

This hotel made me feel excited: It was great to be there on July Fourth. The light show was fantastic.

It is a good value for a cheap price, the rooms are clean, not very glitzy, but standard and fine.

It was poorly maintained. The shower leaked and it ran out of hot water. The toilet was plugged up.

I liked the restaurant, the amenities and the room, but I hated the mix up on the billing and the overcharging on the room.

I liked the convenience of the freeway access. The valet parking was very efficient.

I liked that fact that with much of the concern expressed about many of the downtown hotels, this one really did a good job dispelling many of my concerns. The rooms were not fancy, but they were clean and well appointed for the price. We were also well up in the tower which provided a very nice view. There were only a couple of concerns that I would express. First, the cleaning crew was standing outside of my room one day, and they would not move for me to access my room. I had to turn sideways to squeeze in to avoid bumping the chemicals on the chart. Second, the cleaning cart that I saw in the hotel lobby area was quite dirty looking and was more appalling than apealing. Many tools of the trade should be left off the cleaning carts, such as plungers or at the very least covered to prevent them from coming into contact with items such as clean towels. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the value and the room quality, but I do feel that their housekeeping staff could work a little harder to keep the customer in their considerations.

I like the atmosphere. It is very friendly.

I enjoyed my stay here. I have never stayed here before. The only complaint I would have is that the elevators were really slow. They should have some dedicated to the higher floors and make them express elevators.

This hotel made me feel practical: It actually made me feel as though I stayed at a placed that gave me a good value for my money.

I asked for a smoking room when I checked in and they put me in a non smoking room but said it was a smoking room. I had to move the next day. They also were the only hotel in Reno that did not have airport transportation.

I would recommend it to anyone going to Las Vegas to stay. We have stayed at this hotel several times and we have enjoyed our stays there.

I was not happy with the cleanliness of this hotel. My room was not cleaned before I was sent up to it with my things. There was a beer bottle in my friends room under the bed showing poor maid service. The food at the buffet was barely passable. They had no freebie coupon booklets like every other hotel in town. I am not going back unless they respond with a complimentary stay.

Me, my wife, stepdaughter, and son-in-law all stayed at the "Fitz" in August 2006 and we had a great time.

The rooms were always clean, the linen always fresh and the slots were always loose. My wife likes the slots and she did very well. My stepdaughter could be found lurking around the card tables and she went home smiling. My son-in-law is a craps man and one night at the "Fitz" he smoked the tables! And as for me, well, I'm taking the fifth!

The four of us all recommend staying at the "Fitz ". See you at the tables!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have always stayed on the Strip, but this one time has made us realize that we can stay downtown for half the price and most of the fun. We were able to go by bus anywhere we wanted. The staff at the hotel was very gracious and accommodating. The food was excellent and our whole experience there was enjoyable. We hope to return.
