Fitzgeralds Casino and Hotel

Mold, mold, mold! The website says "recently remodeled" but I couldn't find anything at Fitgerald's that was either recent or remodeled. The beds were not comfortable, old linens, filthy common areas, and uncaring staff. Mold all over the bathroom, especially on the ceiling over the tub. The sink took hours to drain, even after we removed the stopper. There were rust stains on the floor under the sink plumbing. No fan in bathroom. Noise from other rooms was unbelievable. There was no internet access! I had to take my laptop to Krispy Kreme, sit with it on my lap, and tell the clerk to turn the router on in order to get a signal. When I complained about the room being dirty on check-out, the front desk clerk replied, "and you stayed here this long?" I was there 2 nights, traveling on business. No attempt to even say "sorry" or make any accommodations. Do yourself a favor -- stay anywhere else but Fitzgerald's, regardless of the price. I wouldn't stay there for free.

This place is old and one of the original hotels on Fremont Street. The rooms are newly remodeled. The staff is very friendly. Everyone seems happy to work there. My son had his own room and we had ours and the cost was less then 120.00 total for 3 nights two rooms...amazing. We will be back.

This place was clean an luxurious, it seem they have that whole flying/levitating issue cleaned up, so to speak.

The buffet remains bad in many respects however.

I loved the hotel and the value for the price paid. However, they placed us in a room that was already assigned to another guest and we walked in on him. They acted as if it was not a big deal and it never happened.

I loved it. I have stayed there before and I would again.
