Lots of rust in rooms by doors and on the walls. Needs up dates and remodeling. Price was okay but if people are going to pay the price they need nicer rooms. Smelled like smoke. Breakfast was nice and the beds were comfortable.
Room was not clean - not vacuumed and booger left on wall behind bed. No mattress pad, a sheet used instead. Owner Kim was very unpleasant and unwilling to fix my concerns. This was my worst hotel experience in last 15 years.
The place was fairly clean, long distance phone service did not work, and heat would not turn on. It took until the 3rd room to get one where most everything worked. They would not give refund when I ask, I wanted to go over to the Super 8 beside...

I know it's late but back in 2002 my husband and I got caught in a blizzard trying to drive across the state and the only hotel with opennings was the 1st Inn Gold. We were shocked at several things:
