Figueroa hotel is a stylish and atmospheric little pocket of morocco with easy reach of the heart of downtown los angeles. The souk inspired d'cor is truly unique, with many decorative items imported from north africa including original furniture, lampshades and beds. The location is conveniently central, across the street form the staples center and the nokia theatre and just a short stroll to the la convention center. Rooms are large, light and have warming vibrant red and orange decors, making them very inviting, and there is more emphasis on the aesthetic than providing standard unnecessary amenities.

pros: Ambience, Service, FoodI threw my husband's 40th birthday party at Hotel Fig and it exceeded all my expectations. The manager Uno and his staff are pros and very experienced in handling big parties. Uno accommodated all my requests which...
pros: Close to Staples CenterThe Hotel Figueroa is not your average hotel, but very unique in its own right. The lobby area was very exotic with huge chairs and small coffee tables for casual conversation. We had a quick dinner that was not too...

I liked the location, which was close by to the convention center and the price, which was very good for that area. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable and not to busy or rushed.
The hotel was in vintage middle east decor. Although I did not use them, it had an open bar and restaurant in the lobby and a backyard type area behind the hotel.
I am very likely
to return to the Figueroa Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
This was a great experience! What a wonderful hotel, right in the center of Los Angeles, great location, friendly staff and terrific price! I felt I needed to write this because I happened to be at the hotel the day another person who wrote a...

The rooms are absolutely beautiful. Especially the suites. However they have absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced, and I have traveled alot and stayed at many many hotels. I dyed my hair a week before the trip and a little of the remainder dye got on one of the towels and a pillowcase, because of this I got a phonecall and YELLED at by the management. Not not just strong words, and anger, but full on yelled at, insulted, and spoken down to as if I was a young child, as soon as I answered the phone. I will never go back there.
Should have stuck with a chain

Okay
Though the hotel scored some points for some beautiful decorations and marketing (website pictures made me think I was heading into the lap of luxury...wrong!), they decided to go cheap on the important stuff, mainly the bed is hard as a rock, the...
pros: prettyThis place is exactly what LA is known for; much like the nightlife that lines Hollywood Blvd. gaze at its beauty from afar because you are NEVER going to get in!
Never have I been treated so poorly by someone who operates...
