Located on Cancún Island's northern point, this all-suite resort sits on a white-sand beach dotted with thatch-roofed palapas. The Cancún Convention Center is across the street. This resort has an indoor street of restaurants, health spa, three tennis courts, and shops; outdoor pools include a multi-tiered lagoon with swim-up bar and a children's pool. The 602 spacious guest suites have cool, tropical decor, with panoramic views of the Caribbean from the balconies; separate sitting areas have chairs and coffee tables. Although it's officially off-limits to all but Grand Club guests, a polite request at the front desk might permit a visit to the expansive rooftop terrace adjacent to the 12th-floor Grand Club Lounge. From the terrace, all of Cancún Island can be seen. The resort's complimentary Fiesta Kids' Club is a supervised recreational program for young guests ages 4-12 years. Open daily during limited hours, the program permits guests to register with the pool concierge each morning. The program includes water-related activities from 11 AM-1 PM, a complimentary lunch, and handicraft activities in the late afternoon. Activities and lunch location may vary, depending on hotel occupancy and the weather.

If you love cold water in the pools, this is your hotel. Because they have so few people staying they turn down the heating of the pools, so, the water is freezing.
