Fiddlers Inn North Motel - Page 1

I have been a fan of the Grand Ole Opry radio and tv show for years, and that is where I first heard of the "World Famous Fiddler's Inn". My family and I decided to seek it out and stay in the hotel we have heard about for many years. The hotel is an older type place, very close to where the Opry is performed. It's age dates it for the worse, and it is long past due for a major renovation.

The front desk shares space with a gift shop. The continental breakfast was nothing more than store bought cold muffins, a coffee urn and foam cups tucked away in a small area across from the front desk. Discount coupons for the motel are available at the state welcome centers, but with tax stillruns near $70 a night.

The small pool is a long walk from the hotel. I would suggest taking that same amount and staying at one of the nicer, newer hotels available in the same vicinity.
