Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort

Everything from the atmosphere of the lobby to the beautiful view of the beach, this hotel goes straight to the top of my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in! I travel with my mom on some times and we get to stay in 5 star resorts for free because my mother's company pays for everything. But seriously, if you are looking for a place to stay to get away from the ruckus of things or for any other reason, you have got to go to this hotel. They will totally pamper you to death. I always love going back to there!

I liked the lovely hotel and grounds. They had excellent service and food. It was pricey and I expected high value. I was not disappointed.

This hotel made me feel pampered: I liked the clean, perfectly manicured grounds and the interiors were impressive. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.

We had bugs in the bathtub.

It was fine. We had no problems. For our purposes, just a place to sleep and get dressed for wedding events for a relative, it was too expensive. It could have been any hotel with decent beds and a clean bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay and were thrilled to find out they allow dogs. There are so few "nicer" places that do. The staff was great and they cater to families on the go and had a lot of great pointers there were not on any of the millions of flyers.

We stayed during a time of revamping but our room was nice just the same. The locale can't be beat and we will definitely stay again.

It's not cheap but we thought it was worth it just to stay in a nice place with the pooch and the kids.
