I've stayed here twice, once with my family and once while on a trout fishing trip with my buddies. I was impressed with the architecture and room decor as well as the landscaping. It was a 5 minute walk to the town square and restaurants.....

Very nice place-after a series of bad hotel experiences in Taos, The Fechin Inn came thru- Nice rooms, excellent staff, safe grounds, costs a bit much, but you get what you pay...
Put through charge for 1 day without informing me at time of booking, glass and metal objects on carpet floor in room, dirty patio furniture, stale bagles and danish at continental breakfast, weak coffee, room not made up after returned from trip...
Stayed here for one night (on a Saturday). The location is great, being close to the Plaza and the Kit Carson Park. The fabulous Adobe Bar is also nearby. The service was very friendly and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The rates were a tad...

Good
Fechin Inn is located right in the middle of Taos shops but you wouldn't know it. It is very quiet and removed from the hubbub of daily life in Taos. The Inn itself is very lovely. It has a wonderful New Mexican feel to it with the entry way...
