35 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I've read alot of negative things about this hotel but I found it to be pretty nice. I think the problem is that alot of people trade timeshares for their room and they aren't happy getting something smaller than they traded. This only 1 one bedroom on each floor and they are impossible to get so you get a suite. Which is one room and it's OK for 2 people. We had 4 people per room and that was cramped. There is only one Queen size bed and the other bed is a pull out sofa bed. It's kind of set up stupid with the kitchen in the bedroom side of the room. should be the other way around but that's not that big of a deal. So if you know that going in your fine. They make you think it has two beds but that isn't exactly the case. The check in was fine. The rooms were clean. I was there in July which was busy but I had no problem getting towels or extra pillow etc. They came right to the room when I called the front desk. The view is great. The pool is small and seems like a waste of space because there is a large area for chairs that could have allowed for a bigger pool. The kids liked the game room which was good because the board walk in AC is not the best for small children. There are alot of homeless people that sleep on the beach and people asking for money. I never had problems with the elevator except for check out time on Friday which is when alot of people leave. That was a bit of a wait but it makes sense. All in all it is Ok for a couple or Family with 1 or 2 small children.

65 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This hotel is a disgusting, dirty dive in an unsafe neighborhood surrounded by unsavory people. Before staying there in June and trading a gold crown timeshare for this privilege,I researched many reviews from different companies. They were radially diverse. We took a chance that the positive reviews were accurate. What a mistake! The rooms are terrible, the elevators slow and inadequate and the garage parking and check-in process were insane. The furniture in the room was worn and dirty, the linens were a joke and the management and front desk were friendly and to some hostile.

Apparently, based on some reviews that I read they have redone some rooms and that resulted in better reviews.Clearly, other visitors and my wife and I did not get a room that has received any attention in many years.

Even if we did receive a remodeled room we have grave concerns about this operation and its surroundings. If you are planning on staying here,do some thorough research and you will do your self a favor.Atlantic City is trying to upgrade its hotels. This dump didn't get the memo.
