17 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
i STAYED IN ROOM 216 WHERE THERE WHERE A NUMORUS AMOUNT OF ROACHES ON THE WALL AT NIGHT WHENN THE LIGHTS ARE OUT. THERE IS ALSO A HOLE THE SIZE OF A BABY IN THE WALL WHERE THE SECOND BED WAS. WHEN I COMPLAINED I WAS TOLD THEY HAD NO OTHER ROOM WITH 2 BEDS AND A COT AND WAS QUICKLY DISMISSED. THE ROACHES VARIED IN SIZES. I WOULD NEVER IN MY LIFE COME HERE AGAIN. NEVER.

70 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The room was located on the second floor on the left side of the building. There was excessive noise from the highway traffic and a constant low level vibration from a motor either in the building or nearby. I got a good deal for the price as they honored the coupon found in the motel travel booklet available at the welcome center. It had a good location for food, low priced gas, shopping and the cruise terminal.
I am very likely
to return to the Family Inns of America.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I stayed there enroute to San Antonio and returning. The room was to be non-smoking but when I entered the first thing I saw was an ashetray & cigarette burns on furniture. The remote for the tv did not work and the desk clerk was not one bit...
