The Fairmont Waterfront has great views of Vancouver and is located across from Canada Place, conveniently connected by covered walkway to the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre, the Cruise Ship Terminal and Skytrain. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with large windows and great views of the harbour and mountains or the city skyline. The breakfast buffet is great, but if it isn't included in your package then it is expensive. Stanley Park and Gastown as well as the downtown shopping and entertainment areas are within a 5-10 mintue walk. The Health Club has a wide range of fitness equipment as well as whirlpools, steam rooms, and an outdoor heated pool. There are also good business facilities including high-speed internet access. The staff are polite and helpful, especially if you don't know the area well.

If you try to check out early as I recently did, they will charge you the equivalent of 1 nights accommodation. Made me want to go back to the room and really mess it up. I wonder if they rented it out that night and got double the revenue?

I have been to this hotel with my family serveral times and I find it an excellent hotel in Canada. If someone was to ask me if this hotel is recommended, I think this hotel is the one you should be going to. I like the customer service there and everyone there treats you kind. It is a good place to go to and a very suggested hotel. The Fairmont Waterfront has the best food around Vancouver. So if your from other countries and hoping to come visit Canada. THen come to The Fairmont Waterfront because their service is absolutely wonderful and the staff there treats you very nice. I like it when the maid helps you with your needs. The stay there was fun and I met many people. The accomodation package is cheap and very affordable and reasonable. Therefore I'll give this a 8/10!

Normally I don't spend the extra cash on the higher end hotels but this was paid by work, so why not. A conference was held here and I had everything pre-booked for this hotel. From the minute you get out of the taxi and walked into the lobby, you are treated as a guest with that extra platinum card in your wallet.
The Hotel is seconds away from the water, centrally located to several dynamite restaurants, and the view is spectacular. The highlight is that they have two dogs, a golden lab retriever cross and a black lab retriever that you can take for a walk, the only downside is the scoop-the-poop duties. I highly recommend this place just for a place to stay as its is worth every last dollar.
