It was fine. They have stopped serving hard boiled eggs at breakfast. I missed them.

The motel was very nice and the employees were great. The only problem we had was when making the reservation in September we requested a smoking room and upon arrival the motel had gone to non-smoking. We should have been told that when making the reservation. We would have stayed somewhere else. Yes, we survived, and there were outside areas to smoke.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I was impressed by the decor in the lobby. The rooms were very nice. The employees were very pleasant and accommodating. They had nice beds and although I didn't use them, it was great to find an iron, board, and hair dryer in the room.

The bed was very comfortable and we really loved the jacuzzi tub.

This hotel made me feel practical: The room was practical for the needs that we had. There were no frills which was what we were looking for.

I was there for a funeral. I spent little time in the room except to sleep. The room was comfortable and clean.

The walls and floors in Fairfield Inn Lapeer had to be paper thin! We were awake all night listening to banging sounds above us and water going on and off constantly and people walking above us. It was next to impossible to sleep in our room! They ended up adjusting our rate.
