Fairfield Inn by Marriott Helena Hotel

While we don't have many hotel choices in Helena, the quality of this property has really slipped since it was sold.

We are staying 3 nights this trip. Housekeeping made the bed in the morning. Didn't clean the coffee pot or bathroom. No replacement shampoo or coffer. 2nd night same deal. We had to go to the front desk to get soap and shampoo.

The staff member at the breakfast area was particularly helpful and pleasant. One desk staff person wasn't too personable, but all seemed to be well trained.

I asked for a smoking room and got a non-smoking room, but they took care of it by upgrading my room to a suite for the same price, when I mentioned it. Other than that everything was great.

The door would not lock because the battery was shot. They should have a schedule to replace batteries.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I felt welcome there because the counter clerks remembered my name, and always greeted me.
