Fairfield Inn by Marriott Gainesville Hotel

The Fairfield Inn hotels offer free breakfast. They are usually located close to exit ramps, but a block off the main street. I use the Marriott points that I accumulate. The chain has improved the bedding in most of their hotels and motels.

This hotel made me feel important: The reservation person has my Marriott points number and acts like it is important to get the reservation I need. The desk clerk also has the number and makes me feel welcome. The advance check in works very well. The bedding is comfortable and luxurious.

The hotel has excellent location and staff.

Huge Mistake!. hotel was one of the biggest mistake i ever made, my room didn't even work the first two times, it lacked a lot of service, the people at the check in desk were extremely rude, i took my two children to the pool, THERE WERE TEENS SKINY DIPPING, one very cute! guy though, lol

We had to go to the front desk three different times about our departure date because they continued to get it wrong.

The front desk staff was particularly friendly and cordial which made us feel welcome. The free broadband internet was great as was the free breakfast.
