I was very impressed with the service at the front desk. They were very willing to help us in any way possible. The room was very clean and neat. My only complaint was the top bedcover which was far too thin, and not warm enough for sleeping. It seemed like nothing more than a fancy sheet.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk attendant worked to get us into a room very quickly even though the hotel was full. We appreciated his efforts.

I liked that the room was extra large. It had a sitting area with a couch and table so our guests didn't have to sit on the bed or stand up.

I like that the Fairfield has a main entrance and all the rooms open onto indoor halls. That seems safer than rooms that all open into the parking lot.

I like that the rooms at the Fairfield open onto a hall rather than the parking lot. As a single woman traveler, it feels safer. I have stayed at the Fairfield in Emporia several times over the years and their pool is always nice.
